About Hit The Dhol

Antonio Jhalli, the leader of Hit The Dhol, is an experienced professional in conducting Asian Dhol Drumming workshops in various settings. Hit The Dhol, established in September 2021 as a Community Interest Company (CIC), aims to provide diverse arts-based workshops, programs, and projects to empower individuals and groups in the community.

 Hit The Dhol caters to a wide range of service users, including young people and adults across various sectors. Their work includes education, training, consultancy, and promoting diversity and inclusion through partnerships and projects. Their objective is to integrate arts learning into mainstream education through collaborations between students, teachers, and artists. They focus on music, dance, and cultural arts to celebrate culture and diversity, educate about different cultures, enhance rhythm awareness, and create an enjoyable experience.

Hit The Dhol CIC launched the Celebrating All Cultures program, offering cultural services to organizations of diverse backgrounds. They have collaborated with partners such as NHS, PRIDE Birmingham, United 2022 Common Wealth, ITV, BBC, and various councils and organisations.
